Silvergate已減計去年收購的Diem技術的價值，此筆收購相當于虧損98%:1月13日消息，加密銀行集團Silvergate Capital上周披露，其在2022年第四季度計提了1.96億美元的減值費用，減計了去年初從Diem Group收購的知識產權和技術的價值。與收購這些資產時支付的2億美元相比，這一修正后的數字相當于虧損98%。Silvergate去年曾計劃使用這些資產推出穩定幣，不過Silvergate上周表示，該穩定幣的發布已被擱置。該公司認為，鑒于數字資產行業格局發生重大變化，這筆費用反映了公司的信念，即Silvergate推出基于區塊鏈的支付解決方案不再迫在眉睫。
